Rare Plants Ireland was established in 2008 - following on from Carbery Nurseries producing and suppling rare and unusual trees, shrubs and perennials. Many of these specimens have been sourced during plant hunting expeditions in Korea, Taiwan, Japan, the Azores and Sikkim.
Rare plants Ireland proprietor Finlay Colley is a member of the "Irish Specialist Nurseries Association (ISNA)". You will find Rare Plants Ireland at all the ISNA fairs as well as many other fairs throughout Ireland.
